Silecroft Beach Café

Geology, Erosion and Deposit are all themes that are inherent with this site and Cumbria.
This design proposal seeks to represent these themes through the natural deposit of the cafe’s key functions into three units; the café, the servicing and the sports facility.
These three functions are deposited onto the site as if they are pebbles washed along the beach and the flowing tides wrap around them to form the site, the functions of the site naturally fit within these flowing patterns to provide a landmark building for visitors and locals alike.
